Other Support for Gadfly / Exodus 8 one

2008 August 22

One thing has really impressed me about what has been happening in LA/China is that there are other people who really know about China coming out in support of what Eddie has and is doing. There is of course opposition but this video does a good job of supporting Eddie.

From the Blog:

This is a support video from Chinese activist & author Kai Chen who played for China’s National basketball team in the 1970’s. He’s started his own protest movement called the Olympic Freedom T-Shirt Movement. His protests involve running in different cities all over the world to bring awareness to the human rights abuses in China. His supporters wear T-Shirts that bring up these issues. Kai is taking a strong stance of support for Eddie Romero and his Gadfly Project, which was a protest that took place in 2 Beijing hotels one week before the start of the Olympics.

As usual you can follow the project in several ways:

His Blog
MySpace
Facebook
Twitter
