Prayer Morning for Exodus 8 one

2008 August 11

We had a great morning yesterday. After only about 5 or 10 minutes of sung worship we spent the rest of the morning in prayer and conversation about the Exodus 8 one project. We split time between four stations with each having a different focus:

Station 1: Prayer for Eddie Romero in China what he has done, is doing and will do. (info here)

Station 2: Prayer for those in China under oppression and who have been persecuted (info here)

Station 3: Prayer for those in LA who are supporting him.

Station 4: An opportunity to get involved. Where we wrote letters to:
International Olympic Comittee
The World Trade Organization
The United Nation’s High Commission on Human Rights
The Peoples Republic of China
Prime Minister Gordon Brown
(Click here for a list of things you can do to support Exodus 8 one in its mission to bring about change in matters of human and religious rights in the People’s Republic of China)

For those with hard of hearing we had a quieter room (with a hearing loop) so the general hubbub of 4 stations did not distract from their time of prayer.

What was good was that we could come together with one voice to payer about the project and the individuals involved.

As usual you can follow the project in several ways:
